Hear, hear. IMO, the iPod Classic had by far the best UX of any music player to date, and I still keep mine in my car. It’s still the only one that I can control entirely with my thumb, without needing to look at it. It does exactly what I want, really well. It’s even a good size, not a victim of the cult of smaller-is-always-better.

I find the iPod Touch line completely useless (my phone does a better job at everything they can do), but if they came out with a refresh of the Classic — same general look-and-feel but updated components and a big flash drive — I’d be all over that…
