Work on the Edges of Explicit Null

I believe that the addition of explicit nulls to Scala is a popular enhancement (given the amount of attention my post on that subject got). So folks may want to keep an eye on this conversation in the Dotty repo, which points out some flaws with the current situation there.

I don’t think any of that is fatal to the idea (knock on wood), but it does sound like significant further refinements of the design will still be necessary.
